In order to unveil the enigma of the height of China's No. 1 herdsman Xi Shun, President ofthe No. 1 Auxiliary Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College Ouyang Xiaohui led a medical science study team consisting of experts from such departments as otorhinolaryngology, neurology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, otorhinolaryngology and haematology to conduct 22 examinations including pituitary CT on Xi Shun since October 27. The medical study team revealed the examination result on October 29. All the data ruled out the possibility that Xi Shun suffers from Acromegaly and Gigantism. He has naturally grown to this height, something which is a rarity.

According to Li Caiping, leader of the medical study team,  238cm-high Xi Shun has a weight of only 111.5 kg. The body weight index is 19.68, while the index for ordinary people is18-23. If the index is above 23, the people will be comparably fat. Xi Shun is comparablythin as his body weight index is a relatively small. The head size of Xi Shun is 62 cm, thefull length of the hand is 28 cm and his middle finger is only 11 cm, the length of the upper arm is 107 cm, the length of thesole is 38 cm, the width of the soleis15 cm. The left and right radiusof thoracic cage is 37 cm, the front and rear radius is 18 cm, therefore, he has a flat chest.His waist is 94 cm, his arms are114 cm, and he is 118 cm sitting down and the length of his lower limbs is 120 cm.
