Locates in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, hinterland of Ke'erqin Grassland, faces Jilin Province in the east, connects Liaoning Province in the south, the size is nearly 60,000sq km, has a population of 3.08 million, it is in the northeastern and Bohai economic zone, is the commodity distributing center in the eastern  part of Inner Mongolia. It is the hometown for the historical figure such as Queen Xiaozhuang, Senggelinqin, Gadameilin and the great artist Mr. Bajie. It is also the education center in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia. There are many natural resources such as coal, oil, rare earth, silicon sand, limestone, uranium mine etc.  The Industry contains mainly the agricultural livestockproducts processing, takes the food, chemical, energy, construction materials, textile, metallurgy, and machinery as backbone,the city's  construction speeds up.
