Recently, upon the approval of CCCPC and the specific arrangement of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, some of the ex-service satellite-launch bases and the martyr's cemetery in Dongfeng Space City are recommended as one of the6th group of national key cultural heritage protection units with a clarified cultural heritage protection scope and an established culture heritage protection institution.
