On theafternoon of December 12, 2005, the appraisal and innovation forum of 2005 CCTV Person of the Year in China Economy was held inthe auditorium of Wanzhong Building of China Center for Economic Research of Beijing University. Pan Gang, chairman and president of Yili Group is the first lecturer on the forum that day.

Under the guidance of "precision management" and innovative strategy, Yili has become the only company having more than 10 billion yuan of main business income in China's dairy industry. It has become the largest dairy enterprise in sale, profit and tax. Through the top-class quality test, it has finally become the only food supplier of the 2008 Olympic Games. The atmosphere is rather heat and the question is rather active. Students of Beijing University gave heat applause after Pan Gang's speech.

It's said that the speech of 20 candidates of the 2005 CCTV Person of the Year in China Economy will be given in Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University.
