Hohhot City

The Bureau of Environmental Protection of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia said that except 12 indicators such as life waste harmless disposal which have gaps with the building of model city in environmental protection, 16 indicators as urban environment comprehensive harnessing, per capita GDP is more than 10 000 yuan have reached the requirements. Therefore, the Bureau of Environmental Protection of Inner Mongolia recommended Hohhot as Model City in Environmental Protection of the state on December 7.

Presently, 47 cities and three regions are named as Model City in Environmental Protection by State Environmental Protection Administration of the country.
